Larry Jurgens died on March 9, 2026. He battled heart problems for years, suffering his first heart attack at age 46. He had a great sense of humor about life.\u00a0 He was ready to join his wife, Kaye, who passed several years prior.<\/h5>\n

Larry was very active in the Arizona Woodturners Club, creating unique turnings, mentoring and demonstrating.\u00a0 He was always trying something new.\u00a0 It was fun to see his latest work.\u00a0 One of his last pieces was a large soccer ball for his grandson.\u00a0 He had turned for many, many years and was very knowledgeable – always shared and willing to teach.<\/h5>\n

Services for Larry were at Sacred Heart Church in Aberdeen, SD, on Friday, March 13th at 10:30am.\u00a0\u00a0<\/b><\/h5>\n

Dick and I were always amazed at all the turnings in his beautiful homes in both SD and Arizona.\u00a0 He will be greatly missed.\u00a0 Our dog, Annie, loved Larry – she is a great judge of character.<\/h5>\n
